Read 1 Corinthians 15:1–11 at least 3 times.

1. What does Paul say is “of first importance”?

2. What are the core elements of the gospel Paul lists? Why do you think each part (death, burial, resurrection) matters?

3. What does it mean to “stand” in the gospel? How is that different from simply hearing or agreeing with it?

4. Paul mentions believing in vain. How can someone hear and even agree with the gospel, yet not truly hold on to it? What would genuine, lasting belief look like instead?

5. What happens to the gospel if the resurrection is removed?

6. How does the Bible show that the resurrection is physical, not just spiritual? (Think about what Paul describes in 1 Corinthians 15:5-8)

7. Luke 24:36–43 John 20:24–29 What evidence do these passages give about Jesus’ resurrected body? Why does this matter for our faith?

8.  What does it mean that these events happened “according to the Scriptures”? 1 Corinthians 15:4

9. 1 Corinthians 15:9–11 Titus 2:11–14 How did God’s grace change Paul? What does grace train believers to do?

10. In what ways has your life been shaped by the gospel? Are there areas where you are not “holding fast”? What would it look like to respond to God’s grace more fully this
