My Prayer for this July 4, 2026

From Pastor Marlon,

I want to thank God for the freedom we share as people of the United States of America. We are not a perfect nation, and not all in our nation may appreciate the truths that have founded our country and are embedded in our national identity. They may reject them at the same time that they benefit from them.

But let us, as believers, show that we can both love our country and seek God's blessing for it. As Christians, our best hope for our country goes beyond the founding ideas of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Our desire and prayer are that every heart would come to know the LIFE that only comes through faith in Jesus Christ.

True LIBERTY is found in being freed from the control of sin and self by surrendering our hearts to the One Who Can Truly Save Us.

And the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS is only fully experienced in Christ.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Join me in being thankful to God for our country, and continue to pray and share the good news of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Christ is the true hope for America.
