Our Beliefs

Scriptures The Holy Bible is divinely inspired and authored by God. It is His perfect revelation to humanity. It contains absolute truth, serves as the guide for salvation, and remains the ultimate standard for Christian unity, conduct, and beliefs. All Scripture points to Christ, the focus of divine revelation.

God There is one true God, the all-powerful, all-knowing Creator and Ruler of the universe, infinite in holiness and perfection. God deserves our highest love, reverence, and obedience. He is triune, revealing Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Though distinct in person, they are eternally one in essence, nature, and being.

Humanity Humanity is God’s special creation, made in His image as male and female. Originally innocent, man fell into sin by free choice, bringing sin into the human race. All people inherit a sinful nature and become transgressors, requiring God’s grace for redemption. Therefore, every person born or unborn of every race possesses full dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

The Church A New Testament church is a self-governing congregation of baptized believers, united by covenant to follow Christ’s teachings, observe His ordinances, and share the gospel globally. Under Christ’s Lordship, members are accountable to Him, and the church is led by two scriptural offices: pastor/elder/overseer (reserved for qualified men) and deacon. The church also represents the Body of Christ, including all redeemed believers from every tribe, tongue, and nation.

The Family God ordained the family as the foundation of society. Marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s relationship with the church. Husband and wife are equal before God. Children are a blessing from conception, and parents are responsible for raising them in biblical truth through teaching, example, and discipline.

Our Statement of Faith is summarized above, and we are in agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
